Tracy trained to be a midwife as a second career. Having grown up in the USA, midwifery never crossed her mind until she’d had some children in the UK. She currently works as the Lead Professional Midwifery Advocate at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and otherwise spends lots of her time reading, singing, and battling the weeds in her allotment.
